Many espresso fans can not live up one day without out a good cup of espresso in the morning. I used to spend hundreds of bucks on coffee shop each month, But that doesn’t happen often these days thanks to Nespresso Inissia Espresso Maker. While we all have busy mornings, this espresso maker can produce a good cup of espresso within one minute. Just fill the tank, drop in a pod, and press a button, there you go! A tasty morning coffee is finished.
First of all, all espresso machines are well designed. Beyond question, Nespresso has exceptional design as well, it is a beautiful stuff even compare it with Keurig or Mr. Coffee machines.
Your espresso machine will stand on your kitchen counter, it must be appealing to you. At the very least, you should like it.
The compact Nespresso Inssia machine is only 4.7 inches in width, 9 inches in height with a 12.6 inches high. It is small footprint and sleek to perfectly fit any small place of your kitchen. The weight is only 5 pounds and you have no problems at all to move it anywhere. Yes, that’s incredibly light weight and easy to carry.
19 Bar Pump Pressure
How many bars does an espresso machine produce? This is always to first question for professional baristas while talking about espresso makers.
For most of the machines, from expensive to cheap ones, the answer is usually 15 bars. Of course, some low end machines still use inferior steam technology, which merely creates 1.5 bars of pressure. There are only a few espresso makers that would produce more than 15 bars of pressure; simply because the making some extra bars is a new technology.
However, please note this: Nespresso Inissia is fully capable of producing 19 bars of pressure! This is not a common feature of espresso machines and you won’t get it even in some expensive espresso machines (like over $500). This means the Nespresso Inissia can shot through the Nespresso capsule that much faster, detach only the good stuff and leaves the bitter part. This bring about sweeter and cleaner coffee.
What’s the downside of high pump pressure? Creating incredible 19 bar pump pressure means more work, therefore, the drawbacks of 19 bars pump pressure are loud noise and more higher electricity cost.
Clean and Maintenance
The efficiency and the life of the espresso machines will be increased if you maintain and clean up them well. It is tiresome to maintain some espresso machine, but that is not the case of Nespresso Inissia.
We tested it on daily basis. You know what?
We were excited that we didn’t have to clean up the mess like traditional machines, these machines often come with the time consuming process of grinding the beans, pumping the optimum water and then adjusting the right cup size which is often come with spills.
Fortunately, the Nespresso solves most of the problems automatically, even the folding drip tray drops down immediately to catch the drips. All you need to do is empty the water container, the drip tray and the crushed capsules after brewing. Wipe them up with clean damp cloth. That’s it!
How Good is The Coffee?
Actually, Nespresso Inissia means more than convenient, it brews amazing and tasty coffee as well. Whether you pull a single or a double shots, the machine always creates thick creamy foam at the top. Nespresso has many different capsules available. Many light and dark roasts are available as well as some flavor options. There are also seasonal and special roasts available throughout the year. You can also get different packs, cheap or expensive.

- Expensive capsules – For that exquisite espresso you have to use only Nespresso pods which are expensive and are available only in specific places.

What’s it Like to Use
Learning the Nespresso Inissia from booklet can be confused. instead of text introduction, everything you need to know is displayed as diagrams and symbols. The drawback of the booklet that it makes the machine look harder to use than it actually is, but once you have grasp the basics, brewing drinks is straightforward. There are only two buttons to deal with which are “espresso” and “lungo”, they are also working as on and off buttons. You are going to have a good coffee in 25 seconds once you have switched them on.
To insert a capsule, you need to open up a slot for it to drop into by rotating the front bar backwards. Sometimes, the capsule wasn’t in the right position and the bar wouldn’t close fully. You need a little bit practice before you can perfectly get the capsule into the slot. When the bar has been returned to the front, it’s time to choose a long or short coffee – the water level could be changed, and the Inissia will stop filling water by itself when it’s finished. Lastly, rotate the bar to the back again and release the used capsule.
The drip tray can be flipped up to make room for large cups since its hinged. Don’t forget the hinge, once upon a time during our test, liquid from the drip tray was spilled as it was emptied. The handy safe mode of Nespresso Inissia will turn itself off if you forget.
The Aeroccino3 milk frother is an option, and it is easy to use and faster to heat, which is about 60 seconds. Inner marks show the fill levels for making hot and cold frothed milk, and it’s controlled by a unique button on the front. While the body of the machine can’t be sink into water for cleaning, the lid and whisk are removable for cleaning up. The whisk magnetically clicks back into place after cleaning.
